Mahamaya Nagar is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India.
Total area of Mahamaya Nagar is 1,840 km² including 1,794.11 km² rural area and 45.89 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Mahamaya Nagar has a population of 15,64,708 peoples, out of which urban population is 3,32,693 while rural population is 12,32,015. The district has a population density of 850 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 2,60,860 houses in the district, including 56,033 urban houses and 2,04,827 rural houses.
