Arwal is a district in the Bihar State of India. Total area of Arwal is 638 km² including 613.57 km² rural area and 24.43 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Arwal has a population of 7,00,843 peoples, out of which urban population is 51,849 while rural population is 6,48,994. The district has a population density of 1099 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 1,18,222 houses in the district, including 8,453 urban houses and 1,09,769 rural houses.
