Ambedkar Nagar is a district in the Uttar Pradesh State of India.
Total area of Ambedkar Nagar is 2,350 km² including 2,255.08 km² rural area and 94.92 km² urban area. As per 2011 stats, Ambedkar Nagar has a population of 23,97,888 peoples, out of which urban population is 2,80,730 while rural population is 21,17,158. The district has a population density of 1020 inhabitants per square kilometre. There are about 3,68,728 houses in the district, including 43,693 urban houses and 3,25,035 rural houses.
